Children of David James (1773-1848) of Radnor Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania and Elizabeth Boehm (1783-1820):

 

1.    Jacob Boehm James:  born November 4, 1805; married March 24, 1844 in Mercer County, New Jersey to Emily Combs (1817-1863); died December 30, 1881 (aged 76) in Asbury Park, Monmouth County, New Jersey; buried at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Trenton, New Jersey; known children include: Mary Combes James Smith (Oct. 31, 1851-Sept. 17, 1916).

 

2.    Mary James:  born February 29, 1808.

 

3.    Henry Boehm James:  born May 7, 1810; married 1834 in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey to Mary Dagworthy Yard (1810-1883), daughter of Benjamin Yard (1769-1832) and Priscilla Keen (1771-1852), See, biographical sketch below; died March 17, 1888 (aged 77) in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; buried at Mercer Cemetery, Trenton County, New Jersey; known children include: Joseph Henry James, James H. James, Mary Priscilla James, Anna Elizabeth James, Charles Melville James and Wilson James.

 

4.    Isaac David James:  born November 10, 1812 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; married April 15, 1845 in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey to Margaret Potts (1824-1904), daughter of Charles J. Potts (born Feb. 14, 1801) and Mary Rogers Potts (Dec. 22, 1800 - Nov. 29, 1832 ); died May 10, 1886 (aged 73) in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey; buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Plot D-NW, Hamilton, Mercer County, New Jersey; known children include:  Mary E. James, Emma James and Lavina B. James.

 

5.    Elizabeth James:  born February 12, 1816 in Pennsylvania; never married;, died March 19, 1895 (aged 79); buried at Greenwood Cemetery, plot D-NW, Hamilton, Mercer County, New Jersey; no known children.

 

6.    Julian “Julia Ann” Barbara James:  born June 10, 1817; married circa 1836 to John W. Nelson (1821-1894); died December 11, 1877 (aged 60) in Camden, New Jersey; buried at Mercer Cemetery, Trenton, New Jersey; known children include:  William H. Nelson, Elizabeth Nelson and Alfred Nelson.

David James (1773-1848) was the son of Griffith James (-1812) and Mary Gyger (-1825) of Radnor Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
